Who is Body IQ?

With over 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry, Body IQ integrates a range of health disciplines including Nutrition, Massage, Pilates and a variety of Personal Training methods to create a balanced approach to your health and fitness regime.
We are passionate about the outdoors and will always encourage our clients to embrace the environment around them. with a focus on minimal equipment creating maximum results. We do have indoor facilities available for those times that it is simply not an option to be outside. From the elite athlete to the health of a mother to be, our aim is to create a balance in your health and fitness program that suits your lifestyle and is personalised and tailored to your goals and needs.

Founder and head trainer: Kelly Carthy
As a dedicated trainer with years of experience ranging from dance to extreme sports, Kelly Carthy aims to include balance, integrity and focus in her clients training regime; a focus not just on exercise and diet but on everything that creates a complete sense of health and vitality. Wellbeing is about learning to listen to your own body, to recognise and challenge your own limits and achieve what you once thought was unattainable. Kelly is a regular health contributor to national media publications such as Who Magazine (check out the latest articles in the Body IQ Media section). Kelly is passionate about teaching and inspiring new trainers to get out into the industry with confidence, skill and the tools to be a success. She currently teaches Personal Training Certification through FIT College in Maroochydore and is developing her own CEC (Continuing Education Credits) courses in further education for Personal Trainers in specialised areas such as pre and post natal training.

Body IQ offers a range of Pilates classes suitable for beginners through to advanced. Our beautiful Pilates by the Sea classes take place on the stunning Sunshine Beach every Thursday 5pm and Saturday 7am. Studio based classes are held at The Yoga Circle on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9:15am and at Noosa Springs Fitness Centre on Mondays at 5:15pm
